Member Services Supervisor
DUTIES:
- Educate and assist
members in understanding of all credit union products and services
- Promote and cross
sell credit union products and services
- Develop and maintain
procedures to improve member service operations
- Open and close all
member account offered by the credit union
- File signature cards,
daily work, and member-related information as well as maintain the organization
of those files
- Maintain closed accounts
- Pull closed account
files and signature cards
- Handle check orders
and re-orders
- Process returned
checks, and electronic transfers
- Set up and maintain
member access to on-line banking, bill pay or telephone banking
- Report and remove
members to CheckSystems
- Set up and maintain
member Visa check card
- Handle mail and telephone
transactions and request
- Maintain and sell
all credit union products
- Account for all monies
- Some knowledge of
GCU’s Individual Retirement Accounts
- Balance all end of
day branch transactions
- Knowledge of all teller
duties
- Handle reports of
fraud or identity theft on all accounts
- Scan credit union
documents and records
- Research member account
inquiries
- Accurately record
all transactions into systems (99.0% or higher)
- Help balance ATM as
needed
- Maintain continual
awareness of robbery prevention and safety
- Develop an understanding
of credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operating
procedures
- Relieve switchboard
operator
- Assist in any area
as directed by Member Services Supervisor or Operations Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School
graduate Good conversationalist
Reliable, organized, efficient Friendly disposition
Good typing and 10-key skills Professional appearance
